Headphones and kids: how loud is too loud?

Part of the Kinderling Conversation for parents. Weekdays 12pm-1pm.

Headphones are often the quickest way to a quiet house, or a peaceful family road trip. But what precautions do we need to take when using them in terms of our child's hearing?

Paediatric audiologist Florencia Montes explains the general guidelines for headphone use, what type of heaphones are best for little ears, and how what is right for our ears as grown ups, isn't necessarily the best for bub.

Florencia also spoke to us about how to spot hearing impairment in your child, and what is involved in a hearing test. You can check out that interview here.
