Most kids in Australia are taught how to swim, it’s part of our culture.

We live in a country where swimming in pools, beaches and rivers is a summer past time. But learning to swim isn’t straight forward for children on the spectrum, and with drowning the leading cause of death for autistic children under 14, something needs to change.

Clinical Director of Autism Swim, Erika Gleeson explains how these terrible statistics can be turned around.
