Kate Ritchie writes an emotional book for her daughter Mae

I Just Couldn’t Wait to Meet You is actor and radio star Kate Ritchie’s first ever picture book for kids. The book, dedicated to Kate's 20-month old daughter, Mae, is a wonderfully personal account of motherhood, detailing the writer's joy and anticipation expecting her first child.

Featuring beautiful retro illustrations by Hannah Sommerville, this is a great book to read with your child if they're asking questions about their birth. It would also make ideal reading for an older sibling awaiting the arrival of a baby brother or sister.
