Luke and Samantha Gillett’s children had just emerged from their most time consuming phase when they decided to start again from the beginning. Almost.
When they realised they had more time on their hands now their girls were teenagers, they decided they had the capacity to help children who needed respite foster care. And so they opened their homes to many different children. They explain the challenges with fostering, and why for them, it’s all worthwhile.
