May Gibbs' Gumnut Babies tour Australia

Part of the Kinderling Conversation for parents. Weekdays 12pm-1pm.

Wed 26 October 2016

7 mins

In 1916 May Gibbs published Gumnut Babies, a children’s picture book that has become part of our national identity.

To celebrate 100 years since that first book was published, the story of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie has been turned into a touring production for children aged 5-10 years. Cuddlepie actor, Thomas Pidd, chats about how the stories have been adapted to the stage for a modern audience.

Head here for your local performances.
