We know singing is good for a child's development, but above all, it's just plain fun!
Sam Allchurch is a conductor and artistic operations manager for Gondwana Choirs and has experienced the lasting impact of music throughout his life.
Sam says choirs should be more than just standing in straight lines, and that movement that matches the music is a huge part of their performances (like in the Sitting Dances from Aceh performance below)
He also attests that being part of a choir really helps a child understand the concept of practicing, that not everything is going to be "right" the first time.
