School attendance rates for Indigenous kids are as low as 14 per cent in very remote areas of Australia, according to the Australian Government’s 2015 Closing the Gap report. Illustrator Ann James has helped to create a book written and illustrated by Indigenous kids in Tjuntjuntjara.
