High Five: Big Block SingSong

Each week Kinderling gives a HIGH FIVE to music, artists, albums and other stuff we think is awesome!

Big Block SingSong might look like a bunch of squares (well, ok, rectangles) but their songs are anything but! These multi-coloured blocks sing smart, sassy songs for smart, sassy kids full of messages that are positive, quirky and catchy to boot.

Penned by dynamic writing duo, Warren Brown and Adam Goddard, each Big Block character has their own song to sing, reflecting a myriad of thoughts, feelings, reflections and perceptions for all children (and inner children) to relate to and feel empowered by.

We never like to play favourites, but Kinderling is LOVING Princess where said feisty femme blows the ‘frail helpless princess’ stereotype out of the water, establishing modern maidens as fearless, empathetic and fashion-forward.

Big Block SingSong makes smart songs for today's kids and for that they get the Kinderling High Five this week.
