High Five: Can You Feel It by Jessa Campbell and the Saplings

Each week Kinderling gives a HIGH FIVE to music, artists, albums and other stuff we think is awesome!

If your family loves twangy folk music and learning about the environment, Can You Feel It by Jessa Campbell and the Saplings is for you!

Based in  Portland, Jessa's musical career  spans everything from  opera to theatrical pop, and she even fronts popular Talking Heads cover band, LDW. You'll hear glimpses of this background in each of her songs, and kids will learn a lot, too!

They'll learn about how shadows move throughout the day in Shadow Doo Dah, celebrate the brightest star in the galaxy in How I Love You Sun, and be lulled to sleep by Goodnight Pacific Northwest as Jessa sings about her favourite animals found near her hometown.
