High Five: Hello Friend! by The Hollow Trees

Each week Kinderling gives a HIGH FIVE to music, artists, albums and other stuff we think is awesome!

We are all suckers for a catchy, toe tappin’ tune. Throw in some ukuleles, banjos and clever lyrics and you have a barnstorming album for any family knees-up.

Hello Friend! has The Hollow Trees taking their folk ‘n’ country roots and packaging up a brilliant kid friendly album that brings humour and warmth to a mix of classic and original songs.

They mix smart messages (My Metaphor) with silly songplay (Backwards Bill) and bring it all together with swing and swagger. What better combo to take out this week’s High Five!
