High Five: Monsters Ball by Michael & The Rockness Monsters

Each week Kinderling gives a HIGH FIVE to music, artists, albums and other stuff we think is awesome!

Our last High Five for 2018 is a real hoot!

It’s Monsters Ball by Michael & The Rockness Monsters!

You’ll hear old favourites, plus new energetic dance hits like the whimsical;

  • ‘A Fish Named Dog’, based on a true pet story
  • A quirky, artistic dance Party in ‘Mona Lisa’; and
  • A head-banging, hair-flipping, body-shaking track in ‘Growing Bigger’.

The band's lead singer Michael Napolitano spoke to Kinderling Conversation about what he loves most about writing and performing music for kids, and what families can expect from the album.

The whole album is one big party, with themes of celebration, inclusion and accessibility.
