'00s Indie

A Retro Rewind episode. Saturdays and Sundays 12pm to 1pm.

Tue 27 November 2018

Let's turn to the recent past. With the rise of the internet (and therefore platforms like MSN and Myspace), plus the invention of iPods (and the ever-dodgy Limewire), music had never been easier to access in the early 2000's. Independent artists could suddenly connect with listeners around the world, and as a result, Indie music quickly became a global phenomenon.

Peel on your skinny jeans, and lace up your now-cool-again Converse, 'cause we're celebrating the artists of the noughties!
