'80s Power Ballads

A Retro Rewind episode. Saturdays and Sundays 12pm to 1pm.

Tue 2 October 2018

Pull out the air microphone! We're returning to simpler times, where mullets were the rage and the 1980s power ballad formula was airtight. Full-on feelings was the forte of this genre, and to this day there's been no better mix of passion and power chords.

Belt out these breathtaking songs and share them with the kids - they'll love the excuse to let loose! You won't be getting much done with this playlist on. Except singing, of course.

  2. The Cars - Drive
  3. Michael Bolton - How Am I Supposed To Live Without You
  4. Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes - Up Where We Belong
