Baby Shark does Valentine's Day!

Kinderling News & Features

Pinkfong, AKA the gang responsible for the'Baby Shark' song, have decided to create a Valentine's Day version of their smash hit earworm. Did they nail it? You be the judge.

Imagine what would happen if you took the 'Baby Shark' song and randomly added some words that relate to Valentine’s Day. You’d get the actual 'Baby Shark Valentine’s Day' song and it’s as bonkers as it sounds!

Surely not Doo Doo Doo Do Do Do

If there’s one thing the 'Baby Shark' folk like to do, it’s keep things simple, so when charged with making a seasonal version of their earworm that took in some Valentine’s Day themes they didn’t try too hard.

Instead, they slotted some bonus lovey-dovey words and phrases into any gaps in the existing song … because who wants to record a whole new track if you don’t have to?!

Geniuses/cheats. #YouBeTheJudge

Okay perhaps that’s a tiny bit unfair because they did cobble together a few extra lines, but it’s pretty much a rehash and you basically already know the words!

I’m afraid so Doo Doo Doo Do Do Do

This Valentine’s Day version will be no surprise to people who already knew about the Christmas version of 'Baby Shark'.

'Santa Shark' was a masterpiece, however, if you compare it to 'Valentine’s Day Shark'. At least the festive 'Santa Shark' had at least 50 percent new lyrics.

Think “Santa Shark, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho” with plenty of brand new extra lines thrown in for good measure.

Happy Valentine’s Doo Doo Doo Do Do Do

The new Valentine’s Day incarnation of 'Baby Shark' is more like 5 percent fresh fodder. In fact it’s basically the same as 'Baby Shark' but with someone yelling “honey” and “my old man” at various points. Come to think of it, it sounds a lot like a busy pub during happy hour, minus the meat tray raffle. But I digress.

'Valentine’s Day Shark' will almost definitely have diehard OG 'Baby Shark' fans singing along in delight – and haters tearing their hair out – so mission pretty much accomplished.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it appears to be the 'Baby Shark' team approach! Doo Doo Doo Do Do Do!
