Heroes in a half shell, we’ve found your new home! Check out this bodacious Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lair in New York, complete with dojo, video games arcade, basketball court, free pizza, sewer chic style and more.
It's recently been listed on accommodation site Airbnb.com for the crazy price of $14 a night. “Hey dudes!” the ad reads. “Looking for a dojo where you can practice your ninjitsu skills?” Our secret lair in Manhattan is THE place to order up a pie, shoot some hoops & chill with your squad.”
It's all part of a promotion between the website and Paramount Pictures to promote the forthcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows film, which is released in Australia on June 9. Clever marketing sure but also raising money for a good cause, with a percentage of proceeds going to the PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.
Sadly, the lair is already booked out, but keen ninja-types can follow the Turtles’ Twitter to see if availabilities pop up.
Can anyone fly up to New York quick smart? We’d love… I mean, our kids would love to stay here.
