Meshel Laurie is an author, radio star and podcaster, who's great at making people laugh. We get to know her a little better with these five questions.
1. What is your favourite thing about being a mother?
Seeing the world through children’s eyes again.
2. What’s your favourite thing to do with your children?
Hanging out in bed watching movies.
3. What is the thing you miss most about life pre-children?
Hanging out in bed watching movies alone!
4. What has been the biggest surprise for you about being a mother?
The relentlessness of it. Of course I was warned but it’s inconceivable until you’re actually in it. You’re never truly alone with your own thoughts ever again.
5. What does 'me time' look like for you?
It’s usually got to have some kind of practical purpose, like having a facial or exercising. My me time needs to count towards my list of chores I’m afraid.
