According to a report released in June 2018 by the Australian Federal Police, between three to four million Australians live with, or have family affected by PTSD.

Dr Brian O'Toole is the Director of the Australian Vietnam Veterans Family Health Study, which was the first national epidemiological cohort study ever conducted in Australia of the post-war health of war veterans and their families.

In this interview as part of our Dad's Mental Health series Brian talks about the ways in which PTSD affects family life, and what can be done to treat and manage it.
