Parents of toddlers love day sleeps for many reasons. For one, toddlers often turn into gremlins by 4pm if they don’t have one.
It also gives parents a much-needed break.
But sometimes toddlers really fight their day sleep. Dr Laura Jana is a paediatrician, educator and author of The Toddler Brain: Nuture the skills today that will shape your child’s tomorrow.
She takes us through the role of the day nap for toddlers and what to do if they start to fight it.
