For the month of July Kinderling has been celebrating everything lullabies.

From the the science and history of lullabies, to an international music project connecting young mums at risk with their babies through lulllabies.

But singing to our children is a very basic, grass roots kind of thing, so what better way to complete the series than by speaking to a Dad who has made singing his life; award winning singer songwriter Josh Pyke!

Josh opens up about the importance of singing in his life, and even gives a gorgeous rendition of the songs his mother sang to him, and that he now sings to his children.

To see, read, and listen to all the exciting features on lullabies head over to our Lullaby Hub, and subscribe to our podcast The Lullaby Effect with award winning researcher and educator Dr. Anita Collins.

Available via iTunes, Google Play, the Kinderling app, or wherever you download your podcasts.
