Every parent wants their child to have opportunity to experience new things. Dance, sport, theatre. Options for children in the deaf community are limited, particularly when it comes to theatre. Kaitlyn and her mother Sarah, along with Auslan interpreter Kellie Willenburg and Sophie Clausen, Access Program Coordinator at the Parramatta Riverside Theatre, join us to talk about translating theatre for deaf children.
For more information about the Riverside Theatre’s performance of Curiosity with Auslan interpretation check out their website.
