Samantha Page, CEO of Early Childhood Australia, breaks down what the 2018 budget means for families with kids in early learning and care.
ECA believe the latest budget lacks in certain areas that could have a detrimental effect on families in early childhood learning and care around the country. "A missed opportunity in the Budget is the extension of the universal access to early education in the year before school (preschool funding) for just one additional year, despite strong consensus across state and territory Education Ministers on the need for a longer-term approach" ECA explains.
