DJ Duks by Peking Duk (aka Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles)

Thu 6 December 2018

ARIA-award-winning Aussie electronic music duo Peking Duk (aka Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles) have just released their debut children's book: DJ Duks. It's a cautionary tale about fame, fortune... and writing bangers!

Our duck heroes, aptly named Adam and Roobs, dream of signing a record deal in Bling City and getting a million followers on Quakker. As their hit single takes off, the DJs get invited to cool parties, start hanging out with celebrities and getting around town in fancy cars.

But is Bling City and the music industry all it's cracked up to be? What about their old friends in Duckland?

To find out listen below. Grab your own copy of the book at the DJ Duks website so you can read along with the pictures by Sydney-based designer, artist and illustrator Alex Lehours

DJ Duks is published by BMGRead by Peking Duk.

Plus! Adam and Reuben spoke to Kinderling Conversation (our parenting show on Apple PodcastsGoogle Podcasts and the Kinderling App), about how they came to write the book, and what they'd love kids and parents to take away from their fun cautionary tale.
