Little Nic's Big Day by Nic Naitanui

Thu 23 January 2020

It's almost time for Big school and Little Nic is a bit nervous about his first day…but with some help from his Mum, his teacher and his new friends, it might just be the best day ever!

'I wrote this for tots, teens and all human beings. Let's embrace our differences and celebrate our diversity!' - Nic Naitanui

You might be familiar with Nic’s skills on the field, playing AFL for the West Coast Eagles. Born in Sydney to Fijian parents, his family moved to WA. Nic credits his strong sense of values and his success both on and off the field to his Mum, who raised him.

Little Nic’s Big Day is brought to life by Fatima Anaya who is a graphic designer and children's illustrator, based in El Salvador. She loves stories about magic, love, friendship, family and animals.
