Robin De Niro: What Will I Be? by Christopher Doyle

Thu 6 June 2019

Robin De Niro is a small bird with big ideas, and like all small creatures, he's starting to think about what he could be when he grows up. Will he be a poet like his mother, or a painter like his father?

Christopher Doyle's story is entertaining for kids and if you're a grown up, you might recognise the added story layers, as Robin considers being a taxi driver, boxer or firefighter - all roles acted by Robert De Niro.  Melbourne-based illustrator, Glenn Thomas brings the story to life with stylised illustrations that give a nod to Robert De Niro characters, while embracing Robin's world and his imagination.
