The Cow Tripped over the Moon by Tony Wilson

Thu 25 July 2019

This hilarious take on the classic nursery rhyme will have you laughing out loud, but ultimately it's a tale about friendship and perseverance.

Tony Wilson wrote the book for his son Jack who has cerebral palsy, 'I wanted to create a character who, like our Jack, never gives up.'

You'll see the cow, the cat, the fiddle and all their nursery rhyme mates as they've never been seen before! Laura Wood's fun illustrations are a perfect accompaniment to Tony's story.

The Cow Tripped over the Moon won an honourable mention at the CBCA 2016, was short-listed in the Sakura Medal Award 2017, and was the picture book for the National Simultaneous Storytime 2017.
